Methods of payment in the Resort
The Club Med Pass: How to obtain it? At the resort reception, in exchange for a credit card imprint (cf credit cards accepted in the resort below); Deposit amount: 400 Dollars. What does it entitle you to? The Club Med Pass card is a charge card that can be used to pay for extra services in the Resort, such as spa treatments,excursions, boutique etc. and to settle the balance upon your departure. Credit cards accepted (for payments only): ●American Express ●MasterCard ●Visa
Other payment methods accepted in the resort: Cash - Dollars are accepted ●Travellers cheques accepted in: Euros, Canadian and US Dollars Foreign exchange desk available in the resort (at reception): US and Canadian Dollars, Euros . There is no ATM machine in the resort. ATM is available approx. 3.5 mile walk from the Resort. Convert amount into this currency

Standard formalities :
Proof of citizenship, passports, visas, tourist cards, health recommendations, inoculations (where required) and compliance with customs regulations are the responsibility of the member. Club Med Sales, Inc., shall not be responsible if boarding or entry is denied or delayed or if cancellation charges are imposed or additional costs incurred as a result of the failure to provide required travel documents. All information should be confirmed directly with the appropriate government consulate or tourist office in advance of departure.
New passport requirements: For travel outside the United States including Mexico and the Caribbean, a passport is now required. Please check www.travel.state.gov for complete travel information. Some countries may also require a Visa. Verify that your passport/visa has not expired (some countries will not allow you to enter on a passport that's due to expire in six months or less). Check with the Tourist Board to find out the requirements of the particular country you are visiting. You may check specific consular information for any country at www.travel.state.gov.
Children's formalities :
Special requirements may apply in the event a minor is traveling with a guardian or only one parent, including, but not limited to, notarized parental permission.

Standard formalities :
Passport valid 6 months after the date of return required + free FMT Tourist card supplied by the airline company or at the arrival to Mexico.
No dispensation concerning the minimum validity of the passport required by the local authorities.
From the 26th October 2004, for passengers who transit through the USA must have an OPTICAL CHARACTER READER is required in the scope of the visa exemption programme (program).
If you do not have a passport, You have to get a transit visa USA, before your departure.
Children's formalities :
The minors going to Mexico must be in possession of their own valid passport 6 months after the date of return.
If they have less than 15 years they can be represented on the passport (valid 6 months after the date of return) of the father, the mother or the legal guardian in the condition of travelling accompanied by the titular person of the passport (valid 6 months after the date of return) on which they are represented.
If the child celebrates its 15th birthday during the stay he/ she must IMPERATIVELY be in possession of its own passport (valid 6 months after the date of return).
Additional information :
IF STOPOVER IN the U.S.A.: As from October 26th, 2004 a PASSPORT WITH OPTICAL CHARACTER READING is required. In default of it, a TRANSIT VISA the USA will be to obtain BEFORE the departure.
