DJ CRAIG CRUISE (SPIN-FEST Host)

It was in Cancun, the Caribbean jewel of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, known as the ultimate vacation and resort spot, that DJ Cruise first shared the stage with the legendary DJ Tiësto. It was a long way from his humble beginnings, hidden behind the microphone at a local radio station, in his hometown of Calgary, Canada.

Born Craig Rusk in Calgary and spending his impressionable formative years in Vancouver, for 23 years now, DJ Cruise has lived the charmed gypsy life brining his music, his talent and his passion to international audiences across North America, the Caribbean and Asia.

First gaining experience at the Calgary radio station, he perfected his skills in notable Clubs like Dady O and Dady Rock in Cancun, The Limelight in NYC, the Beach Club in Kuala Lumpur, the Government in Toronto and on the USS Intrepid Aircraft Carrier, NYC. Always searching for the next best set to play, Craig was named Club Med North America’s executive DJ for all exclusive events and specialty weeks such as the NIKE World Junior Tour 2008 and 2009, USV I & II, Turkoise Rocks, and much more. Cruise is the founder and creator of SPIN FEST under his event company name Craig Cruise Events.

DJ STACY STYLEZ

DJ DIMITRI

Dj Dimitri has been in the industry for over 15 years now. Originally from Greece He specializes in house and house remixes. Dimitri has mixed on all continents and has been noted as one of the top Greek Dj’s who has specialized in organizing and Deejaying Greek events thru out North America and Greece. He now is conquering the international market and hosts the biggest international party weekly in Vancouver that brings in 8 to 9 hundred international students every week. DJ JOHN GRAMMATIS

DJ John Grammatis is a mind reader.
At least that’s how music lovers and club goers around the world have explained John’s uncanny ability to read a crowd’s energy and play just the right tracks at the right times and persuade even the most jaded club kid to scramble for the nearest dance floor- or even bar and table top!

John’s career as a DJ has spanned over 20 years- starting as a thirteen year old kid playing around with some turntables and throwing house parties to the world renowned DJ that he is today. Even as a teenager, John’s innate ability to connect with a crowd and impressive technical expertise earned him a residency at Chicago’s famed Cairo Club when he was only 17- the youngest club DJ in the entire city! While at Cairo, John also started his own night drawing over 1200 per week, showcasing his skills as both a promoter and a DJ.

Shortly after, John packed his turntables and headed to Europe where he worked in Copenhagen as well as some small clubs in Greece. In 2001, John was invited back to Greece for a five-week gig and headlined at various clubs across the country and has traveled extensively since then, performing in Canada, France and even South Africa.
But, Chicago is John’s home, and he has made his mark by headlining at some of the city’s most prestigious club and venues including Spy bar, Level, J Bar, Narcisse, Cabaret and his current residency at Chicago’s famous Sound-bar, where he keeps the crowds happy and dancing all night long.

DJ BRADY “Nagga” URRUNAGA

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Brady found his calling at age 17. When he got his first taste on turntables, the rest was history after that! Recognizing his passion for music, Brady took it up at notch and became an apprentice to one of Peru’s top DJs, Otto Leon. Brady took the time to learn of his past time; became heavily influenced by the 70’s & 80’s. He indulged on various cultural mixes; House, Latin House, Salsa, Merengue and even Latin Rock to Techno.

In the mid 1990’s, Brady then moved to the United States to broaden his music diversity and attend college. Living in the US, he was quickly introduced to Hip Hop, Rap, R & B and Trance. Brady’s style of music evolved even more with influences of legendary DJ, Paul Oakenfold.

Today, Brady resides in Dallas, TX and can be found showcasing his skills at the city’s hottest night clubs! His friends know him as “Nagga” and the music lovers & club goers know him as the crowd pleaser. Brady has been invited to spin across the globe to clubs in Peru, Bahamas, Mexico, and Santo Domingo. DJ Brady was recently nominated by D Magazine as one of Dallas’s Best Dj’s.

DJ Eric Carver

Eric Carver has been mixing since 2002, and quickly gained a reputation as having a very unique style of mixing, using long, smooth transitions to blend not only individual tracks, but genres as well. Versatility has always been one of Eric’s strengths, as he is capable of entertaining crowds catering to House (all types), Downtempo, Oldschool Hip Hop/RnB and Reggaeton, and even dabbling in Reggae, DrumNBass and Chillout, all while erasing musical borders and bringing genres together.

Eric is currently one the premier resident DJs for one of Vancouver’s premier promotional companies, T.R.U.S.T. Inc, and has held numerous residencies at clubs all over Vancouver's downtown core. He has also played at various establishments and high profile events in Vancouver, including being the official DJ for the 6TH ANNUAL VANCOUVER NIGHTLIFE AWARDS (2009), the official DJ for the 2009 CANADIAN JUNO AWARDS AFTERPARTY JAM SESSION ROOM, and headlining the RETRO BOAT for the 5TH ANNUAL HEINEKEN INDUSTRY WHITE PARTY BOAT CRUISE. As of July 2008, Eric has gone international, having played in Guatemala City, Guatemala. In December 2009, Eric travelled to Sri Lanka where he headlined an all night rave at the inaugural Feel Negombo ’09 festival, which took place in Negombo. He also dropped an epic 5 hour set the following night at the infamous Amusuem Nightclub, located in the heart of downtown Columbo. Eric currently holds 3 weekly residencies and 2 bi-weekly residencies in the downtown Vancouver core. The past year has been Eric’s busiest to date. In 2009, Eric played over 150 shows locally, making him one of Vancouver’s most booked and sought-after DJs. Having played at several different types of venues and events has given Eric the experience and ability necessary to entertain people of all ages and musical tastes, bringing them together to love and dance as one collective group.

Gary Tennant aka. DJ Johnny Omega

Director, Producer, and DJ: Johnny started out as a dj in the early 90's, actually to be exact 1991. He started out in a small town nightclub open in and playing with artists such as Snow, Maestro Fresh Wes, Jeff Healy, Alana Myles and the list goes on.

With his drive to be one of the top dj's in Canada Johnny has made a solid name for himself in the last 14 years and plays a lot of big shows and regular gigs in and around Vancouver. The sound that he is known for cannot be cataloged into one genre as he has proven himself to be very diverse in his events and bookings.

With such a strong career in the making he has done many great parties and events, such events would be playing on local radio at The Beat (94.5) for the Canada day traffic jam mix show. He also has been on MTV Select video television show as the resident dj once a month. He is also a resident dj for Cargo events which is run by Trust Promotions which brings in the world’s biggest dj's to Vancouver every month. Johnny has been trusted to open for a large number of big name touring dj's such as Richard Humpty Vission, Darude, Sm Traxx, Aquagen, Ian Pooley, Dimitri from Paris. Omega is also one of Redbull’s sponsored dj’s and has toured in Cabo, Mexico and will be touring in Amsterdam, Sweden, and England In April 2010.

DJ Rachel Sehl

In the last few years, Rachel Sehl has risen to become one of the most successful up and coming female DJ/Producers. Already an accomplished actress and model, Rachel is quickly emerging as one of dance music's most influential ladies - gaining bookings and recognition in North America, the UK and continental Europe. Recently featured in I-DJ magazine, some of her memorable international gigs of 2009 were: Es Paradis (Ibiza), Gatecrasher (Birmingham & Nottingham, UK), Karu & Y (Miami - WMC), Solidaritet (Sweden), and Supperclub (Amsterdam & San Fransisco) Rachel holds a residency with the international clubbing brand Pukka Up (Uk/Ibiza) and also represents The Addictive Tour brand through radio shows and performing. As well as deejaying, Rachel also owns and organizes events for Sunglasses@Night, a highly successful club brand that throws parties all over the world, that has done events in Ibiza, Amsterdam, Stockholm, London, Manchester, San Francisco, Chicago and Miami to name a few. Rachel is also the North American booking agent and tour manager for Pukka Up and Mad Hatter Recordings (a record label based out of Manchester, UK)

Rachel's success as a DJ comes from her undeniable ability to create a party in any venue - big or small. She is a very versatile DJ who is always pushing boundaries and doesn't alienate genres. She is passionate about all music, but mostly spins and produces House, Electro, Tech House, and Indie Dance, however, she won't hesitate to throw in some Hip Hop, Top 40, Mash-Ups, Remixes, and old Funk and Disco if the occasion calls for it. With her flawless mixing style and unbeatable energy, Rachel will drive any crowd crazy.

DJ CLEMENT

Clement was born in 1988 in Lyon, France. In 1998 He moved to Miami, USA. That’s when he started Mixing. He first started by doing private parties then grew bigger. Few years later He worked for the famous Boca Raton Resort and Hotel. He also mixed in Bars, Clubs, and Lounges all over South Florida. In Late 2008 He Mixed for the French Resort Club Med in the Turks and Caicos Island. In 2009 on certain Thursday’s he would Mix at Delux in Delray Beach, Florida. In the summer of 2009 Clement has become a Club Med Artist for Club Med. Traveling all over the world to Mix for Club Med.

DJ JOEY G

DJ Joey G was born and raised in upstate New York.. He has a love and passion for music and entertainment, entertaining audiences and music lovers for 17 years. In the beginning, the summer of 1993 DJ Joey G Volunteered his time at a local Roller Skating Rink where the in house DJ’s began to teach him the basic techniques behind beat matching, mixing and scratching. After 8 weeks, management took notice to his talent and hired him as an in house DJ. DJ Joey G graduated from the State University of New York At Oswego in 2000 and obtained 2 separate degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology. While in Attendance at Oswego DJ Joey G teamed up with a local entertainment company where he learned everything there was to know about performing at a private party event. It was there where DJ Joey G perfected his expert MC skills.

Over the years, DJ Joey G’s mixing technique grew and can now be described as one of a kind and unique; mixing everything from the 60’s, 70’s, disco, Motown, funk, and rock & Roll, Dance, and Hip Hop, just to name a few. His non-stop throwback dance parties will keep you on your feet and screaming for more all night long; and his shows have been described by many as “amazing”.

DJ Mikey Da Roza

Mikey Da Roza is a loyal and avid music fan with ties into the electronic music scene since 1994. He discovered “techno” as it was called back then, when electronic music started to explode on the Canadian West Coast. Originally from Vancouver, Mikey chose to call Calgary his home after moving eastward across the Rocky Mountains. Within a very short period of time, his musical abilities, business sense and outgoing personality brought him into the ranks of Canada’s DJ elite. Now with over 15+ years of dj'ing under his belt, his versatile house sound spans several genres - from deep and techy Chicago house to big room floor fillers.

It was his passion for music that drove Mikey to start throwing parties under the Aqua Audio banner, building it into a household name amongst Calgary’s house music fans. With numerous club residencies, guest dj spots and producing close to 150 shows over a 9 year span, Aqua Audio put became one of the biggest and reputable electronic music promoters in Calgary. With a long list of artists, highlighted with David Guetta, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez, Deep Dish, Kaskade & Mark Farina, Mikey has had helped produce some of the biggest acts in Calgary’s ever witnessed. Now at the forefront of Calgary’s electronic music scene, Mikey has taken on a new project, by opening Calgary’s first “micro-club” concept, Habitat Living Sound. With his business partners, they have dedicated themselves to pushing the musical boundaries once again, providing a destination for house music and helping build an even larger dance community within Calgary. One of Calgary's premier and most sought after entertainers, Mikey Da Roza has grown and expanded into a household name. DJ SLIP

Born Stephen Bullock August 29th, 1977, in Vancouver Canada, Slip grew up with strong musical influences from his three older siblings and parents. Steves Dad being a avid guitarist and his Mother a piano teacher. Steve at an early age learned guitar, bass guitar, wood insturments and even tried his hand at the drums. However, when Steve first heard 'Herbie Hancocks-the Rocket' he was hooked. That funky, electric feel would stick with him a lifetime. Djing surpassed his musical training and became his passion.. his outlet.. his art.

Taking his diverse knowledge of music into account Slip started djing in his teens playing many house parties and also began djing weddings on a regular basis gaining experience behind the decks and also becoming a competent MC. As soon as he turned legal age it was inevitable... the clubs were calling. He started at the bottom... 'paying his dues'.. the old school way... playing many rural pubs and clubs, Honing his skills. Slip played all genres from classic rock to hip hop and of course the top house track of the time.. all the while still playing house parties and after parties, djing what he loved the most.. house music.

Since Steve turned nineteen he quickly gained status and was resident dj for a number of clubs. With his noteriety, he also began djing for many high end clients and lounges in and around the Vancouver area. Slip also co-hosted a local radio station for a season playing cutting edge electronic music.

Slip now is djing full time in Vancouver with residencies all over the lower mainland. Taking time off to play clubs in Whistler, Victoria and soon Club Med Cancun! He also has dj'd with the worlds elite. Both opening and playing along with some of the best.

Steves background makes him a highly sought after dj. He is able to play virtually any room and keep the party going. He is a firm believer in that no matter how many people are in the room.. they all get to party and have a great time. Never happy with the status-quo Slip is constantly looking for new and old music and innovative ways to play it.

Steves humble attitude and outgoing personality make him one of the easiest dj's to work with. He is also one of the most pleasant dj's out there. He is always excited to meet new people. So.. if you're lucky enough to see him at a party be sure to introduce yourself.

DJ Kostantinos

Dj Kostantinos was born in Athens Greece in February 2nd, 1981. Growing up, his older brothers would blast music in the house and that's where he discover the first sounds of music. His influences in music started very young, listening anything from Guns N' Roses to Depeche Mode. At the age of 10 though he discovered electronic music and djing. He got an old turntable from his mom and a tape deck and he would sit for hours and hours and just play records and old tapes from electronic producers and try to put them together in a seemless way. One day as an 11 year old boy the opportunity came to play music at a kids party in Athens and after that he was hooked. He started playing in school dances and local bars but in a way that no one at the time had heard before. It was called "mixing". Although the art of mixing wasn't what it is these days he somehow understood that it should sound seemless so he did everything he could to mix it with an old and crappy mixer.

As the years went by Kostantinos was solid booked as a young boy from small bars to 1000 people capacity clubs mixing the first sounds of house and trance. At the age of 15 he moved to the United States with his family and his influences started changing again. House music had become more mainstream so records were more easy to find, so he started collecting them. He started booking shows from underground raves in the United States to clubs in eastern Europe. After high school he enrolled in music engineering school and earned his masters in music production and audio engineering.

Nowadays as his productions get better and better he stills gigs around the States and Europe as much as he cans and works on productions in his own studio and a small label he established, Velvet Sound. Mixing has always been in his life and always will be as DjKostantinos keeps going to capture the world of electronic music as much as he can through his mixing.
